Do you want to experience the peace of Lapland in a beautiful glass-roofed cabin, admiring the night sky full of stars? The cabins of the Village of Silence offer just that. The beautiful cabins were hand-carved 30 years ago and completely renovated in 2023.

The cabins are equipped with their own toilet, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, and refrigerator. The cabins' terraces also feature a wood-heated hot tub, which can be booked separately.

The area has a main building where you will find a licensed restaurant that serves breakfast and prepares dinner on request. The main building also has separate toilets and showers for women and men.

Each cabin is equipped with a spacious 180 cm wide double bed that invites you into the soft embrace of high-quality linens. The hot tubs outside the cabins provide a unique opportunity to enjoy the Northern Lights or the starry sky while relaxing in warm water.

What to say about this magical place where silence is golden. This place promotes relaxation, no noise, beautiful surrounding nature (lake, spruces, small colorful houses), the hosts 😊 are very welcoming, responsive, and available. The cabin is warm, the glass roof is perfect for star gazing and the Northern Lights (unfortunately, we didn't get that chance). We enjoyed the Hottub in the evenings for €90 (might be a bit expensive), it's a big plus. We had dinner at the restaurant, and the dishes were really good and hearty, as were the breakfasts. The showers are very clean. It's the ideal place to unwind and get rid of stress! I look forward to returning in the summer.

The place is incredible! The showers are very clean. Rafi is very friendly. In the evening, there is a homemade meal available, it was delicious and very generous. There are even sleds, buoy, snowshoes, and skis, so you can have fun or go for a walk! The services are top-notch. And it's very quiet here. I highly recommend it!

Helena and Jouko are exceptional hosts, and they made us feel at home every moment. The location is breathtaking, a natural spectacle, surrounded by impeccable service, from the cabins to the restaurants. The hosts never missed anything, and they were always accessible for requests. The place was built entirely by their efforts, and you can see that they put their hearts into what they do. We stayed for 2 nights and regretted that we didn't stay longer!
